How To Start
This is designed to guide you through the process of website development in webay.com.au.
There are six steps to complete one website project:
1.Get Started
Find out Information you may need
You may need to spend some time to think about what you wish to accomplish with your new website if it is not clear to you yet. You need to provide us with some idea of what you would like to see in your design, i.e., colors, color schemes or design styles you would like for the site and the functions your website will have. If you have any guide site that you would like us to refer to, please also let us know. Also you can view our service introduction to find out any useful information
Quote
Send us your enquiry with our FreeQuote form. One dedicated customer manager will contact you since we receive your request, who will serve you along the development or even maintenance period. Based on the information you provided when requesting your website design quote, we attempt to determine your needs. We may have questions for you to help clarify certain issues. Once we fully understand your need, we will quote you on your project.
Website Development Contract
Once we have come to an agreement on project details, timeline and price, we will prepare a website development contract for you to review, sign and send back with your deposit. (Contracts are not required for projects under $5,000.)
Initial Deposit
We require 50% of total cost as deposit before we start your project. The remainder of your balance will be due upon project completion.
Domain name registration / Website Hosting
If you select our Website Development Package services, you may have first year free domain registration service and basic hosting service. (Details are specified at Package price list.) If desired, hosting packages may be upgraded for an additional fee.
2. Design
Start Designing
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will begin to design the graphic and layout for your upcoming site. You will need to let us know the navigation links you would like (such as home, about us, services, etc) and supply all text and/or product information to be included on your site. Ideally, all of the above information should be supplied prior to us getting started.
Please note, if you chose a template based design (which is different from custom design ), you need to provide template No. to shorten development time and save your cost.
Home Page Concept
Usually we will provide custom designed home page concepts for your project in two working days. Then make modifications to the design until you are fully satisfied with the final look. Once the final desired look is achieved, we will create the interior page layout, convert the design to HTML, add programming, etc.
Demo Site
We establish a demo site on our testing server so that you may view the website development progress at any time. In addition, your project manager will inform you via email when extensive updates to the site have been made so you can review the most recent progress.
3. Programming/Coding/System Configuration
This may include creating static or dynamic pages, creating navigation links or drop down menus, incorporating photos and text content, build Email Contact Forms, integrating auto responder and online payment gateway, etc.
4. Testing
This may include dead link check, auto responder test, payment gateway test and tests on other functions each project includes. Customers need to take the final test before the final acceptance of the website.
If you want to change some of your website construction requirement during the test period, we will make minor adjustments or changes to the website, but maximum of up to 4 hours labor. Minor changes include adding changing text, adding or changing photos, etc. Any major revision requests will require additional discussion and possibly incur a fee.
5. Launch
Final payment is required before we take the website live on your domain.
6. Updates and Maintains
We offer at least 1 free update or maintain service for the first year ( the term differed from packages or contract.) One dedicated customer manager will help you manage your site if you under any maintenance agreement.
You can also purchase our webmaster service if your site needs more maintenance job. Fees are required for additional work.
